Our Story
We understand what you’re going through.
Our story may even be similar to yours. Willowise was founded by Brock and Esther Sheets. Brock’s dad, David, passed away unexpectedly due to Covid in early 2021. As the Sheets family was processing through this sudden loss, we decided a virtual memorial service was going to be the most effective way to honor David’s life and legacy. Having lived & served as a pastor in 11 different churches across 5 states, David’s “community” was spread out across the entire US. Travel to a single memorial service location simply wasn’t possible for all who loved David and called him friend.
Brock spent 9+ years marketing, guiding the website design, producing webinars, hosting virtual meetings, and delivering virtual education for a professional association. Esther has a gift of empathy and caring that is unmatched. She is able to uniquely connect with families & care for them in their grief. This combined experience was perfectly suited to create a beautiful tribute website and a moving memorial service with over 500 people in attendance. You can see David’s memorial website and service at HonoringDavidSheets.com.
Since then, Willowise has gone on to help thousands of satisfied people in their own seasons of loss. We combine user-friendly technology platforms, professional project management, and unmatched empathy to create a powerful and moving memorial experience for you and your friends & family.
And that’s how Willowise was born.

Meet The Founders

Brock Sheets
I’m so privileged to help people while they walk through a difficult season of loss. I enjoy simplifying the more technical aspects of virtual memorial services to help make them approachable for people. I love hearing clients say how beautiful and moving their virtual service was and how it was so much better than they expected! But most importantly, I’m blown away by how much joy it brings me to help people honor their loved-ones!

After far too many “close-to-home” losses, I understand so much of the grief our clients are walking through. I know it’s often difficult to see through the fog, but things won’t always be this way. Willowise is our labor of love born out of our own personal losses, and I’m so proud of the gift it is to grieving families. Honoring your loved-one with an online memorial by Willowise helps brings so much beautiful closure and clarity to courageously move forward.
