During the pandemic, the rise of virtual meetings saw explosive growth as the de facto way for people to meet and socialize in all areas of life. The pandemic additionally brought with it the unfortunate passing of many beloved friends and family members. Although people had to maintain social distancing, the honoring and mourning of their recently deceased loved ones simply couldn’t be ignored or forgotten.
This in turn gave rise to virtual funeral and memorial services, which gave people the chance to pay their respects from the safety and comfort of their homes. Now that the pandemic has largely ended, increasing numbers of people are recognizing virtual funeral and memorial services remain the most effective way for them to honor the loss of their family and friends.
